PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) is scheduled to arrive in the White House this week for a meeting with US President Barak Obama. PA officials report Abu Mazen will discuss “pressing issues” which include final borders, the future of Yerushalayim, the building freeze in “settlements” and the right of return for so-called Palestinian refugees.
In a related matter, sources in Ramallah report Abu Mazen is scheduled to meet in the near future in Jerusalem with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, following his White House meeting and the US president’s Cairo address set for June 4th.
The two leaders will also be discussing joint security cooperation between PA and Israeli forces.
