Rabbis in Bnei Brak have issued a call for increased supervision over the Arab workers employed in their city, many of whom are from Palestinian Authority-controlled areas and are in Israel illegally.
The rabbis have appointed a supervisor to oversee the matter. The crackdown stems not from security concerns, although Arabs transported across checkpoints together with groups headed for the area have carried out attacks in the past. Rather, the rabbis are concerned with the rise in incidents of romantic involvement of Chareidi-Religious women with the Arab workers.
The initiative was put forward by the Yad L’Achim counter-missionary organization and supported by esteemed community leading Rabbis Vozner, Landau and Karlitz.

DOES THIS BELONG ON YESHIVA WORLD??(INAPPROPRIATE?)
I don’t know whether or not this news article is reliable. However, assuming it is, why are the Rabbis more concerned about Yichud than s’kanos nefashos? Those arabs would sooner kill a jew
if the Rabbonim felt they had to make this a public issue, than YeshivaWorld is helping publicize it. No big deal.
