Amazing forethought on Pepsi’s part, having been founded almost 50 years before the state of Israel.
In the beginning none of them wanted to open an Israeli franchise. 1966 under intense pressure Coca Cola opened in Israel. They were dealt a boycott by the Arab league. Pepsi was now the hero in the arab world till they opened their own franchise in 1992. So now they’re both being condemned together with many more noble companies and their noble CEOs. Now I know which companies I have to buy from.
Pepsi? Isn’t that company famous for being anti-Israel?
