A man is in critical condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Queens on Motzei Yom Kippur. The incident happened at 67th Ave & Queens Boulevard.
At around 9 p.m. police say a man was crossing Queens Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene. Officials believe he was returning from Yom Kippur Tefillos at his Shul.
Police say the 59-year-old man was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition. So far, no arrests have been made
