Moscow, Kremlin -To the Jews of Russia: With heartfelt wishes I congratulate the Jews of Russia on the holiday of Rosh Hashana (New Year). This holiday revives the excellent tradition of loving one’s neighbor and giving sincere help and support to those who need it. For centuries the values of Judaism have served the noble aims of uniting people and strengthening trust and mutual understanding between them. I am convinced that the Jews of Russia will continue to assist in the successful development of interethnic and inter-religious dialogue in our country.
