At about 11:40am, sirens were sounding in Kiryat Malachi and Kiryat Gat. Rockets landed outside Kiryat Gat. No injuries were reported.

**The Knesset sometime this week will be holding a special session addressing Israel’s decision to enter into a unilateral ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza. Scheduled to address the session are the prime minister, foreign minister, defense minister, and the opposition leader.

**The mayors of Ashdod, Ashkelon and Kiryat Gat on Sunday morning released a joint statement calling for general elections to be held as scheduled, on February 10th.
