5. This has nothing to do with a Goy free city. Lots of middle class goyishe neighborhoods have been turned into slums by selfish landlords. This has created lots of anti-semites of the middle class goyishe neighbors who watch their once beautiful blocks being destroyed. Nobody minds decent goyim in Lakewood in clean houses.

   As far as the parnassa claim, when somebody makes a decision which field to go into for parnnasah, one of considerations should be am I going to be hurting other people through my work. For example, if you are going to culitivate fertilizer in a residntial neighborhood, you cannot come with a taana that I am entitled to parnassah.
   It’s called parnassah b’nachas, bheter, etc…

   Also, the landlords are hurting all the taxpayes of Lakewood. Each child that you stuff into these houses are going to Public School. Our taxes are through the roof because of the growth of public school population, especailly bi-lingual which costs about $25,000 per child per year.
   Alot of poskim hold that there can be momines taanas by all taxpayers of Lakewood against the investors.

   Also, the crime that is being imported into Lakewood, gangs, Latin Kings, etc.. that didn’t exist in Lakewood ten years ago.

   I can go on and on with examples of the ovluh that is being done by the investors to their fellow frum neighbors.

   In summation, people need to see past the tip of their nose to see what effect their actions are having on other people, and stop the baloney racism claims, which was a massive chilul hashem as everybody knows that it is a grand lie by a bunch of greedy frum landlords.

6. Yeshiva Leit rent houses and Apartments. How can you say to call the police or inspectors if these guys are suing the inspectors-effectively trying to limit law-abiding citizens from legal recourse. And let’s not bring “Your Rav”into this since most would agree that these landlords are not acting within Halacha to say the least! And I have more room in more my heart for the poor neighbors whose lives are a living gehennom than for the “Parnassah strapped” landlords who obviously have enough money to get a lawyer (yes, even if the neighbor is a goy who doesn’t want to move to Haifa). Basically if these Tzaddikim think that everyone else has do Teshuva this Elul, we are really in trouble. And remeber the Bais Hamikdosh was destroyed by bad tenants!!
