Jack Carter is strongly pro-Israel, unlike his father: According to none other than his son, Jack Carter, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Nevada.In a statement released on Friday, the younger Carter said he disagreed with his father�s criticism in the German newspaper Der Spiegel, which included the claim that Israel does not have �any legal or moral justification for their massive bombing of the entire nation of Lebanon.�

�Simply put, this is an issue on which my father and I agree to disagree,� the younger Carter wrote in his statement. �Israel has every right to defend itself from the terrorists who seek to destroy her, and those who choose to harbor such terrorists.�He added, �Israel is fighting for her life; she cannot lose.�
