A 5-year-old child and his 26-year-old mother were killed Thursday morning after a rocket hit an Arab village near Carmiel in the Western Galilee. The child’s 3-year-old brother was seriously wounded and was rushed to the surgery room at the Nahariya hospital. Several people suffered from shock. Since Thursday morning, about? 120 rockets have landed in northern Israel. In a rocket barrage fired at Tevereya a man was lightly wounded by shrapnel and three suffered from shock. A rocket hit a house in Carmiel, but there were no reports of injuries. Rockets have also landed in Kiryat Shmona, Tzefas, the Golan Heights, Nahariya and Maal’ot, but there were no reports of injuries or damage. In the afternoon, a rocket fell near Chaifa. There were no injuries, but property suffered damage.

Sirens were heard Thursday morning also in Tevereya, Akko, the Jezreel Valley, Nazareth, Nazareth Illit, Migdal Haemek and Afula.
