Firefighters discovered a pile of carpet pieces and cardboard ablaze at the back entrance of Temple Beth David Friday, the Los Angeles Daily News reported Saturday. They also found anti-Semitic slurs on its windows.
“It is definitely being looked at as a hate crime,” Fire Investigator Thomas Derby told the newspaper.
A joint House of Worship Task Force — including investigators from the police and fire departments, FBI and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives — was investigating.? [Picture from TJJLA:]
