YN: Several dozen ultra-Orthodox men have attacked Border Guard policemen who arrived to arrest an illegal worker in Meah Shearim, a haredi neighborhood in Jerusalem. One of the policemen was lightly injured and the illegal Palestinian laborer’s employer managed to escape.The incident started on Wednesday morning when a Border Guard unit arrived to arrest the illegal Palestinian laborer in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood. The team officers attempted to arrest the employer, and an row has erupted as a result.After the laborer was arrested several dozen of haredim gathered around the Border Guard team and begun beating them up. A few others even punctured the tires of their squad jeeps. One police officer was lightly injured during the confrontation and was treated on the scene by paramedics.

The Border Guard unit fired one shot in air to deter the attackers and hurled two stun grenades but no one was injured.
