Austrailia’s oldest Jew turns 107


Australia�s oldest Jew, Holocaust survivor Irma Stahler, celebrated her 107th birthday last week. An inmate of Theresienstadt during World War II, Stahler was deported to concentration camps in Riga, Hamburg and Kiel. Her husband did not survive the camps. After the war, the Czech-born Stahler moved to Sweden before settling in Sydney in 1950.
