Recently, there have been a large number of thefts of individuals personal mail directly from their mailboxes by perpetrators in the late afternoons and night time in our service area.

Given the rates of Identity Theft (approximately 1 in 4 individuals per year) homeowners are strongly advised to:

1.Retrieve your mail as early as possible each day.

2.Secure your mailbox or consider purchasing a new high-security mailbox.

3.Make arrangements with the postal service to hold your mail when on vacation, or have a trusted neighbor pick-up your mail each day.
