Although it is hard to get back in the kitchen, this yummy recipe makes it worth the effort!
3 ounces semisweet baking chocolate
2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1-1/2 cups (3 sticks) margarine
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
Powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan over low heat or in the microwave, melt chocolate and margarine. Stir until smooth; set aside to cool. Beat together eggs and sugar. On low speed, beat in melted chocolate mixture. Still on low speed, beat in four and baking powder. Stir in vanilla and nuts and pour into 2 greased 9 x 13-inch pans. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares and dusting with powdered sugar, if desired.
