Pear & Bulgur Salad


This is an unusual salad that works well on Shabbos day.

2 cups cooked bulgur

2 pears, peeled and chopped

½ cup golden raisins

¼ cup orange juice

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Mix together bulgur, pears and raisins.  Whisk together orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Pour over bulgur mixture and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, giving flavors a chance to blend.
