An old-fashioned treat.
1 cup margarine
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup tofutti sour cream
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon nutmeg
Cream together margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. On low speed, beat in sour cream and dry ingredients. Chill the dough thoroughly – about 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out dough and cut into circles or other desired shapes. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets and bake for 10 minutes.
