A beacon of light in times of darkness

A beacon of light in times of darkness

Our brethren in Eretz Yisroel are suffering, and from far away we share in their pain. We pray

for them, and we mourn those who have been lost.

From Ezer Mizion Headquarters, we’d like to share some of the work that has been going on to help medical personnel and the sick and elderly in these challenging times.

We have been setting up emergency blood drives across Israel to help the thousands of wounded.

Ever Mizion ambulances are bringing the wounded to treatment centers.

Hot meals are being delivered to the sick, elderly, and thousands of medical staff working under the most unimaginable conditions.

The mental health department is running a hotline to provide the public with emotional and mental support.

Our “Linked to Life” volunteers are delivering essential medications and medical equipment, and providing medical transportation for the sick, injured, and their families.

The senior hotline alleviates loneliness and provides assistance to the elderly, those suffering from dementia, and their family members.

The bone marrow registry is operating as usual, despite all the difficulties. Dozens of families of children or adults with cancer are staying at the “Oranit” center for the duration of their treatment.

Our alternative communication system helps people who have lost their ability to speak through different methods of communication.

The rest of Ezer Mizion’s services are continuing to operate, saving lives, and offering support to the many segments of the Israeli population in need.

It is your support and partnership that gives us the strength and fortitude to keep going in the face of horror and devastation. In these trying times we require your help more than ever.
