A few years ago, Kayla Rus Eisenberg of Staten Island unfortunately passed at the tragic age of 18.
Today, the Eisenberg family—their 6 kids, aged 16–31, along with their father, Bruce Eisenberg—faces a new & bitter tragedy: the Petirah of their mother, Rachel, A”H, at the young age of 57 last week.
After experiencing a shocking & quick illness, Rachel, A”H was Nifteres and the Eisenberg family, already having lost one child, are now without their mother. 6 Yesomim & a father/husband without his wife & without the vital part of the parnassa she brought in.
To paint a fuller picture of the challenges the Eisenbergs live with, Dr. Eisenberg experienced a terrible stroke, which has severely impacted his ability to see &, as a result of the bleeding on his brain, earn parnassa. An emergency campaign has been launched, with the backing of numerous Rabbanim, including HaRav Reuven Feinstein Shlita.
