There have been multiple news stories recently involving extremist groups and behaviors in the Orthodox community. The Monsey Anti-Vaxxer rally, the Lev Tahor cult and kidnapping episodes, Neturei Karta, Burqua Ladies, and may more examples come to imind.

In light of this, in this week’s episode of Halacha Headlines we’ll be exploring these topics with a panel of experts. What are the effects of these groups on our image? On our chinuch and kiruv efforts? What are the dangers and benefits of extremist behaviors?

Joining us this week is Jonathan Rosenblum, founder of Jewish Media Resource, which helps to clarify journalists’ understanding of Frum society. Alongside him is Dovid Bashevkin, director of education at NCSY; and Raphael Kenig, a Lev Tahor cult abuse survivor with an incredible life story.
