The annual Shiva Asar B’Tammuz program will take place Iy”H, this Sunday, July 1st, 2018, 2:00 PM at Merkaz HaSimcha, 1898 Bay Avenue (Corner East 19th Street – Near Avenue M), Brooklyn NY.
The program will present four inspiring and meaningful lectures relating to the theme of the day. The distinguished speakers are Rav Shmuel Dishon, Rav Ezriel Tauber, Rav Herschel Zolty and Rav Pinchas Green.
The Shiva Asar B’Tammuz and Tisha B’av programs were established over thirty-five years ago to educate the community about the magnitude of our tragic losses during the Three Weeks and to promote our individual and collective responsibility in regard to this matter. The theme this year is our responsibility to achieve a personal sensitivity to the suffering of Klal Yisroel that has resulted as a consequence of the absence of the Beis Hamikdash and the exile of the Divine Presence.
The program in the past has attracted a diverse crowd of hundreds of people from many
different backgrounds. We encourage all members of the community to take advantage of this opportunity by personally attending and participating.
For those who cannot attend personally, the program will stream live, here on Yeshiva World, Sunday, July 1st at 2:00 PM.
Rav Dishon is the menahel of Mosdos Yad Yisroel of Karlin-Stolin. He has worked tirelessly over the last number of decades to bring Jews around the world closer to Torah. His powerful and penetrating words are the hallmark of his divrei chizuk and message.

denominations. He has been the moving force behind many organizations dedicated to Jewish adult education and is the founder and director of the Shalheves Organization.
