Father of 5 Aryeh Leib Rothman was known in the Mir community for his commitment to Torah learning and love of chesed. He was just 31 years old when he was diagnosed with cancer this year. During the months that he was confined to his hospital bed, his wife stayed by his side, dealing with medical matters. During that time their five children, the youngest of which is only one year old, lived with relatives and babysitters.
Last month, Rabbi Rothman lost his battle with illness. His family, now reunited, is in a state of devastation. Rebbetzin Rothman is, understandably, unsure how she will now singlehandedly support & raise her family.
Their emergency fund campaign has begun to circulate, as funds are being collected for the widow. The campaign includes heartbreaking video footage of the mother and children. The goal is to provide her with enough security to continue to raise her children in peace while mourning her husband.
