In the words of the parent of a young TBI survivor, “Most people do not understand brain injury unless someone close to them has been injured or sustained a stroke. It is only thanks to BINA’s unbelievable approach and assistance that we stand where we are today.” Another close relative of a stroke survivor attests that “BINA has stood at our side, providing support and guidance any time of the day and night. They have escorted us through the complex maze of neuro-rehab and done their utmost to make this long and arduous journey as smooth as possible.”
A brain injury can happen to any person of any age at any time and the devastation in its aftermath is overwhelming and affects every member of the family. BINA has assisted thousands of families in the United States, Canada, Israel and Europe dealing with the upheaval of stroke and brain injury resulting from falls, car accidents, strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors and other neurological conditions.
BINA’s comprehensive system of rehabilitation referrals and care navigation, case management, crisis intervention and caregiver support services allow brain injury survivors and their families to access the best possible care while on the long road to recovery. Educational events presented by leading experts in the field are conducted for both professionals and the community at large.
With the help of concerned individuals in the community, BINA can ensure that no need goes unmet for brain injury survivors and their families. BINA is there every day for stroke and brain injury survivors; today, be there for BINA.
