Which Seat At The Siyum Is Right For YOU? Exclusive BTS Information

Ticket reservations for The Siyum is in full swing, and the excitement for the upcoming Siyum HaShas of Daf Yomi is unprecedented.

Mrs. Debby Jacobs, The Agudah’s Director of Conferences & Special Events has played a key role in the success of The Siyum HaShas since the first large Siyum at Madison Square Garden in 1990 and is once again fully geared up to ensure the success of the upcoming 13th Global Siyum haShas.

We were lucky to get a few minutes of her time between the influx of phone calls and emails to get her professional guidance to help you choose the seat that’s best for you.

What is the feeling you’re getting from people about the upcoming Siyum HaShas?

DJ: They are beyond excited. People cannot wait to be there and be a part of such a historic moment in our history. The fact that the Siyum will be in January is much less of a concern because this Kiddush Hashem has ignited their inner souls and the inspiration will last them for years and years. They’re lives and the lives of their families will be forever changed and elevated.

How do I know which seat is best for me?

DJ: People want to know that they will be able to see the stage, which is not an issue, since every seat in the stadium has an unobstructed view. They also want to not only see what’s going on, but feel what’s going on. People want to be amongst the Klal. Even many of the Maggidei Shiur would rather sit with their shiurim rather than on the special Maggidei Shiur
Dais.

Can you share with us more details about the seats?

DJ: Sure. The $100 and $180 seats levels are extremely popular. These seats put you on the first level of the Stadium with a close up view of the stage and dais. They allow you to experience the dancing and symphony of people in a very special way.

The $600 seats are my favorite. They may feel like a little bit of a splurge for some, but when you think about what you’re getting, there is no greater investment. These VIP seats afford you a panoramic view of the entire stadium and program, allowing you to enjoy a very special experience at The Siyum. You can also go inside and mingle with thousands of others and enjoy the achdus The Siyum inspires. These are really, really amazing seats and – what’s most important, these sponsorship level VIP seats allow you to partner in the greatest expansion of Limud HaTorah in recent times! You can find out more about the premium seats HERE.

Through the Daf Yomi Chaburah initiatives, Chavrei HaSiyum, Madmidei HaSiyum and of course the general inspiration and excitement around such a monumental event, the Siyum will continue to inspire hundreds of thousands around-the-world, fulfilling the mission The Novominsker Rebbe charged us with for The Siyum – Ki Heim Chayeinu!

What about the other seat levels?

DJ: Well, the $1800 VIP seats are self-explanatory. They are the best seats in the house, with the best amenities and give you the greatest level of partnership in the Torah learning we are generating. Those who truly appreciate what this event means are reserving those seats. And, of course the $360 VIP seats on the stadium floor put you in the center of all the action.

But, even the $25 and $36 seats are a wonderful way to experience The Siyum. That’s where I sat the last Siyum together with my children and we really enjoyed it. Yes, it’s high up, but you overlook the entire stadium. Those seats allow you to take in the vision of the entire stadium from top to bottom. You’ll never forget that sight. “You will feel the entire stadium come alive and vibrating with the sound unlike any other ever heard in such a massive arena. “

How can someone order seats?

DJ: I just want to mention again that the excitement and interest we’re seeing around the upcoming Siyum is unprecedented. Ticket reservation are moving faster than ever. People from around the world cannot wait to join together, daven together, sing together, dance together and be inspired together. Thousands upon thousands are excited to honor their husbands, wives, sons, fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers. They want their children to experience this.

  1. Shvuger….yes, its commercialized, but unless you wish to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to offset the cost of renting the stadium, providing security etc. for an event of this scale, they have to charge the big bucks for 10 percent of the attendees for premium seating to be able to offer the remaining 90 percent of seats at affordable prices. It costs money to stage these events and someone has to pay.

  2. This isn’t a sporting event, lehavdil. There’s no reason I need to see the expressions on the faces of the speakers up close. Unlike a football game, where every grunt and crunch needs to be heard and experienced.

Are you saying that the organizers are using the democrat model of taxation?

  4. For some, being up close to some chashavuh rabbonim, participating in the dancing etc. is even more important than a 50 yard line seat at a Giants/Cowboys game. For others, the padded seats and access to heated club level indoor areas (serving the finest chulent in the NY metro area) is even more important for an outdoor event in January.
