Police are investigating after a taxi driver slammed into scaffolding outside a building in midtown Manhattan.
Police say the accident occurred at 1:28 a.m. Friday on Sixth Avenue and 36th Street.
It involved two cabs. The drivers suffered minor injuries. Police say they were evaluated by emergency service personnel but refused further medical attention.
According to WABC-TV, the accident occurred after one cabbie apparently cut off the other. The accident brought down debris onto the ground and on top of one of the cabs.
Video footage showed the taxi wedged under the fallen scaffolding.
There were no other injuries.
