A 7-year-old girl is alive after falling from a six-story window in Coney Island.

According to the FDNY, they received a call at around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday that a child had fallen inside the Gravesend Housing Project, located at 3194 Bay View Ave.

The girl was rushed to Lutheran Hospital with injuries to her head and lungs, but she is expected to survive.

Police say the same girl had been reported missing earlier in the day, but was returned to her family by officers about 20 minutes after the report was made.

The incident is under investigation.
