The Moment you have all been waiting for. The official mayoral and citywide races debates schedule is out by the NYC Campaign Finance Board.
“We are very excited to be working with such a strong group of media and civic partners to bring the City’s official Debate Program to the public this year,” said Amy Loprest, executive director of the CFB. “The stakes for this election could not be higher and these debates will give all New York City voters an opportunity to take the measure of the candidates for citywide offices as they discuss the issues. This will be the fifth citywide election cycle for the Debate Program, an essential part of our political process.” (Via Celeste Katz at the Daily News)
The Campaign Finance Board has also launched a YouTube channel with archived videos of previous debates, going back to 1997.
