Police are investigating whether a case of vandalism is connected to the ongoing school bus strike.
The maintenance director for MV Transit says someone slashed or deflated the tires on about a dozen buses at the MV Transit Depot in Brooklyn yesterday morning.
The bus company is looking to hire replacement drivers with no end in sight to the union walkout.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg said they have the right to strike but not to damage someone else’s property.
