An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested early Monday and charged with menacing, the NYPD tells YWN.

34-year-old Jim Paul was taken into custody at 2:05AM, while in the confines of the 71st Precinct.

The NYPD did not specify the details of the incident or who Paul allegedly menaced.

He has been suspended, police said.
