Assemblywoman Rhoda Jacobs (D – Brooklyn) tells YWN that the NYC Districting Commission will be holding a public hearing for Brooklyn residents to provide feedback on the plan for the City Council district lines. The meeting will take place on Jan. 10 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Saint Francis College in the Founders Hall Auditorium (180 Remsen Street). Meetings will be held in all five boroughs throughout January and will give New Yorkers the opportunity to reflect on whether the proposed district lines fairly represent New York’s voters.
