A person has been critically wounded after being shot by police inside a building in Brooklyn, law enforcement sources say. Witness and sources said the person lunged at police with a knife or scissors inside the second floor at 48 Fort Greene Pl. in Fort Greene. That’s when police opened fire. It’s not clear how many oficers were on the scene, or how many shots they fired. The suspect is believed to have had psychological issues. No further information was immediately available.
