9:30M (Tuesday): A multi-vehicle crash on the Tappan Zee Bridge has shut down all northbound traffic at 9:00PM, as emergency personnel work on the scene. The crash involves 3 vehicles – including a tractor trailer.

There is possibly one fatality, as the Medical Examiner has been requested to the scene.

Southbound traffic remains open but is backed up.

UPDATE 11:55PM: One victim has been pronounced dead on teh scene by paramedics. Another 4 victims are in serious condition – 2 of them critical. The NYSP is on the scene conducting an investigation, but sources tell YWN Monsey that this may involve a “wrong-way-driver”.
