Rockland County Legislator Frank Sparaco has secretly taped conversations with elected and party officials that will be made public Monday during a county Republican Party news conference, The Journal News reports.

According to the Rockland County Republican Party’s news release, “Secret tapes that have been given to the FBI exposing blatant political corruption — including threats and bribes — will be unveiled. … The attempted bribery scheme implicates elected and party officials.”
