On June 4, 2013 at about 6:00pm, the Ramapo police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Route 45 just north of Washington Avenue.
Ms. Tara Schnell, 40 years old from New City, NY, was turning onto Route 45 northbound from the west side of the roadway, and collided with a vehicle travelling southbound on Route 45. Ms. Schnell was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and was processed at the Ramapo Police Department. She was also issued a traffic ticket for failing to yield right of way. Her arraignment is scheduled for June 29, 2013 at 9:00am in Ramapo Justice Court.
There were no reported injuries in this accident.
