The New York State Police are investigating a double fatal car-motorcycle accident which occurred on the New York State Thruway near exit 16 in the Town of Woodbury at 1:10AM, Sunday morning.

A motorcycle operated by Rafaelito Dejesus, age 23, of Valley Stream, NY was struck by another vehicle while traveling northbound. Dejesus and his passenger, Melissa Rupa, age 25, of Mineola, NY were pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing and State Police are asking anyone with information to contact 845-782-8311.
