IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited southern Syria earlier today, where troops are deployed to nine army posts.

“We are holding key points and are at the frontier to best protect ourselves,” Zamir says during an assessment with the chief of the Northern Command, Maj, Gen. Ori Gordin and commander of the 210th Bashan Regional Division, Brig. Gen. Yair Peli, according to the military.
