Swastikas Deface Jewish Headstones in Holocaust-Hit Humenne


Swastikas were discovered on two headstones at a cemetery in Humenne, Slovakia, a town whose Jewish population was nearly wiped out during the Holocaust. In March 1942, Jewish women and girls from Humenne were among the first deported to Auschwitz, with the rest expelled and sent to camps over time. Just a handful survived.
