First Rain in 10 Months Ends LA Fire Season

The first rain in Los Angeles in over 10 months has effectively ended the fire season in LA County. This significant rainfall, amounting to nearly an inch across various parts of the city, not only quenched the parched landscape but also reduced the risk of wildfires significantly. Fire officials have noted a decrease in fire alerts, and local vegetation is beginning to recover, signaling the end of one of the most prolonged dry spells in recent history.
