The Israeli Air Force confirmed that the “ribbons” (tribute to the hostages) seen in the skies over Israel on Monday morning were created by one of its fighter jets.

The military is also investigating whether the tribute was an unsanctioned act by a pilot aiming to highlight the plight of the hostages.
