An Israeli search and rescue team located the body of 27-year-old Einat Tabori, an Israeli tourist who reportedly fell to her death off a cliff on Tuesday.
Tabori was hiking in the Parvatti valley with friends when she tripped and fell off a cliff and into a reservoir. An Israeli tourist traveling with her called the Magnus International Search and Rescue Company and informed them what had happened.
The Israeli search and rescue crew, lead by Yechiel ”Hilik” Magnus, left Israel on Tuesday to locate the missing woman in India. The team found Tabori’s body Wednesday morning.
The Israeli embassy in New Delhi is heading the identification process and is keeping the Foreign Ministry abreast of developments. The Foreign Ministry informed Tabori’s family of her death.
Following the official identification process, preparations will be made to transfer Tabori’s body back to Israel.

BDE. Why, oh why do so many of today’s young people think that they are immortal? They engage in such risky pastimes. It must be for the thrill of the adventure because there certainly are much safer ways to exercise. I suppose that with age comes wisdom. Someone more mature might be satisfied with just touring the country. My condolences to her family – may they be comforted among the mourners of Zion.

WHY ARE JEWS GOING TO THE FAR EAST “TO FIND THEMSELVES” WHEN ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS “LOOK IN THEIR OWN BACKYARD”
NOT ENOUGH IS BEING DONE TO SHOW THE SPIRITUAL BENEFITS IN JUDAISM TO YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE SEEKING THE “TRANSCENDENTAL EXPERIENCE”
While it is logical that Jews would want to visit India (no history of anti-Jewish feeling, overwhelmingly something other than Christian or Muslim) – this seems to be getting out of hand. Does the Israeli embassy station a rescue team at this embassy to go looking for lost Israeli kids?
