(Click HERE for photos) Less than half a minute after discharging its last passengers, the front windshield of a number 320 SuperBus en route from Yerushalayim to Modi’in Illit randomly popped off. B’Chasdei Hashem no one was hurt when it came crashing down on the cement. Only some thirty seconds earlier, it would have Chas V’Shalom landed on one of many children playing by the grass right in front of the bus stop. It is unknown why the windshield popped out, though there was speculation that it was due to the extreme heat. SuperBus officials at the Ramla headquarters declined to comment on the incident. My guess is the rubber gasket holding the windshield in place weakened dramatically due to the heat.
Chutzie question: what is super about “superbus”?
