I imagine thousands of men have been through this very same training without undue harm. There’s probably nothing wrong with the training methods. But maybe this guy should have been screened better for a heart condition?
1. Happens all the time in all militaries, not just Israel.
All soldiers are screened, but as in any man-made system, screening isn’t perfect, nor will it ever be.
Reb Motcha as a former drill seargant and member of the great IDF it really has nothing to do with screening as we can not screen for problems like that in exxsesive heat the soldier does nor practice mishmaat mayim or has run to much or pushed himself to the limit. the army will publish weather advisories and will restrict outdoor training or exercises durin certain times.
