According to Arutz 7, MK Moshe Kahlon (Likud) has submitted a bill that would have a car for phone-free passengers. He said riders on the trains have complained about non-stop conversations that intrude on peace and quiet. The cell phone is important and sometimes necessary, but it should not be used at the inconvenience of the public,’ said the legislator.

That’s a great idea. I think they have “quiet cars” on some intercity trains in the US.
why cant anybody text msg in public? and to DF why cant people just shut off their cell phones ? just like all over . its a bizayon to be not known as “landau’s” but as “grand cell-phone station”
Go for it, and who will be the enforcers?
No different than having a non smoking car. As to who will be the enforcers – those that want quiet.
