El Al will stop providing security services to other Israeli airlines as of next April, El Al CEO Eliezer Shkedy announced Monday. The decision comes in the backdrop of Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz’s announcement of the establishment of a state security network.

Shkedy also demanded a full refund from the state for providing security to El Al passengers as part of the 2011 budget, which is pending approval.
