A short while ago, in a joint IDF-ISA operation, IAF aerial vehicles and IDF ground forces fired toward a building in the central Gaza Strip, in which armed militants were hiding. The militants planted explosive devices earlier today and planned to fire at IDF soldiers.

The militants returned fire toward the forces. No injuries were sustained amongst the IDF soldiers. A direct hit was confirmed.

It should be noted that two explosive devices were detonated near an IDF force that was on routine patrol yesterday, in the area of today’s fire exchange. A third explosive device was found on the scene and detonated in a controlled manner.
