World’s richest Jew set to change Israeli journalism


maariv.jpgThe world’s richest Jew, Sheldon Adelson, is reportedly using part of his $26 billion holdings to change the face of Israeli journalism,” according to one of his associates quoted by Globes. Adelson soon will decide whether to purchase Ma’ariv, Israel’s second-largest mass circulation paid daily, which has suffered financial setbacks.

  1. He may buy the paper & completely change it’s leftist format. This paper is so anti-religeous it makes the SATAN look pious. If he does that, the left would lose it’s most prominant mouthpiece. This would be a great move!

    He has a lot of different businesses. His main businesses are in Las Vegas and the Boston area. He gives lots of money to Jewish causes. He just pledged 25 million for Jewish orgs in this calendar year.
    Amongst the frumme oilam -as far as I know- only Lubavitch gets money from him.
