Aviation officials in Germany are not ruling out a terror attack after an Israeli plane with 163 passengers on board was forced to make an emergency landing in Berlin. Smoke was detected in the cabin of the Israir flight 251 during landing at Berlin’s Schoenefeld airport, said airport spokeswoman Rosemarie Meichsner, adding that the pilot had radioed for emergency assistance. “An attack cannot be ruled out,” Meichsner said. “The Federal Aviation Agency has opened an investigation.”
