At Meron, thousands of police officers, MDA and Hatzalah personnel were on the scene to ensure that the crowds could celebrate safely. Traffic police emphasized the need for celebrants to take public transportation as
the parking-lots at the site are not nearly sufficient for the thousands of vehicles expected.
