Thousands of passengers, including hundreds of Israelis, are stranded in Greece due to a workers’ strike at the Athens airport. The local air controllers are demanding an improvement in their employment terms.

Passengers on El Al flight 543 from Athens, which was scheduled to land in Tel Aviv on Sunday afternoon, have been waiting at the airport for the past seven hours. According to the airline, the plane is expected to take off from Greece in the next two hours.
