A massive rally is taking place right now in Tel Aviv at Rabin Square, with anywhere from 80,000 – 150,000 attending. The protesters are calling for Olmert’s resignation, and new elections to be held in response to the recent findings on the Winograd report. More than 1000 police officers are securing the area. Citizens from both sides of the political spectrum and the country are in attendance.
UPDATE 2:01PM EST: The announcer at the rally just said that the crowd totals are more than 200,000 attendees.

Will it make a difference? Who knows? but silence won’t.

Flatbusher: What you say is true to a certain extent. However when NOBODY likes a leader it’s alittle different. Before the commission’s report he had a popularity rating of 3%. I wonder where it’s at now. The people have completely lost confidence in him.
a leader doesnt give up….. sometimes he looks back and sees that nobody is behind him. by defineition, he is no longer a leader.
why look like a fool sitting in an office meant for a leader, when you have nothing to say that anyone cares to hear??
he didnt give up being a leader, hes giving up looking like a fool.
Alter Bochur: The last poll that came out asked “who would you vote for now?” Olmert got a whopping 0%!!!!
Jdspero: And another 10 Gedolim say that its not OK to support him! Whats your point?
