11:00PM EST: Emergency officials are confirming that one person was killed and four more were wounded in a tragic fire that erupted in an apartment building in Yerushalayim early Monday morning. The fire was apparently caused by a gas canister explosion. Emergency medical teams said two of the wounded residents were in serious condition. Firefighters are currently working at the scene. 11:27PM EST: The Ynet news agency is now reporting that a second person has passed away from injuries sustained in the gas explosion/fire.
8:18AM EST: The fire took place in a building on Klausner Street in the Talpiot neighborhood. ZAKA has release the name of one of the fatalities as Irit Agor, 67.

This was a gas explosion,the CA incident was a gasoline truck that caused terrible damage,but BH,no casualties. This explosion was in Eretz Ha K’doshah. Let’s daven that today will bring better news .

It took place in the Arnona neighborhood (according to ynet ) . The first investigation says it was an attempt to commit scuicide. The door was blown 200 meters into the street from the gas explosion.
